How Palworld breeding actually works

Every Pal has a hidden breeding rank. Pair two Pals and the game averages their ranks, then hands you the Pal whose own rank sits closest to that average. Lower rank means rarer: Leafan is 1410.

A short list of pairs overrides this with a fixed child, which is how the special combinations work. Both the ranks and that list are read straight out of the game files, so this stays right when Palworld patches.
